All schools attendance will be suspended on Friday and until further notice, announced the Minister of Education, Tayseer al-Nuaimi, during a press briefing on Tuesday.

Tawjihi exam resit dates will remain as previously announced, al-Nuaimi added.

However, the procedures of holding the Tawjihi exam resit sessions will be announced during the next week by the ministry, he added.

In addition, a rotational shift system will be implemented for the attendance of teachers and administrative bodies in public schools, according to a program which the ministry will announce later, he added.
