Six people have died from coronavirus in Jordan on Saturday, announced the Head of the National Center for Forensic, Adnan Abbas.

The new deaths involve, five at Prince Hamza Hospital and one at a private hospital, Abbas added.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 86.

However, Abbas said that the National Institute of Forensic Medicine does not perform autopsies on deceased COVID-19 patients, noting that since the beginning of the pandemic, only one autosy has been conducted on a man following a request from the Public Prosecutor in order to determine the cause of death.
