Superstar and former One Direction band member, Zayn Malik, and international supermodel, Gigi Hadid, have welcomed a 'healthy and beautiful' baby girl.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try to put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together,” said Malik on Instagram.

Hadid also confirmed that she was expecting earlier in April, during an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Grandpa” is “patiently waiting”, Hadid’s father and American-Palestinian real estate developer, Mohamed Hadid, said whilst awaiting for his granddaughter.
