Seven deaths, 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 1,000 new COVID-19 cases and seven deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Thursday.

The deaths reported included; Two in Hebron, one in Qalqilya, one in Nablus, one in Bethlehem, one in Gaza Strip and one in Jerusalem.

The new coronavirus cases included: 101 in Hebron, 82 in Nablus, 51 in Bethlehem, 35 in Qalqilya, 112 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 14 in Jenin, 30 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 28 in Tubas, 18 in Tulkarm, 22 in Salfit, 195 in Gaza Strip, 57 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 255 in Jerusalem.

A total of 490 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine, which include: 19 in Jenin, 33 in Qalqilya, three in Tubas, 300 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 135 in Jerusalem.

The recovery rate stands at 68.5%, while the active cases rate is 30.9%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

Currently, 31 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and ten are on ventilators.
