Traffic cone melts from extreme heat in Aqaba

A picture circulated across social media platforms showing a traffic cone that melted as a high temperatures in Aqaba on Friday.

The Director of Public Security, Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, said on Facebook: "What do we say to these young men from Public Security who are now working under direct sunlight."

Temperature in Aqaba reached 47 degrees Celsius, according to Arabia Weather.
