Jerash Festival approved despite spike in COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Culture's request to hold the 35th annual Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts has been approved, said the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, on Wednesday.

Approval was given by the National Committee for Epidemics.

The executive director of the festival, Ayman Samawi, said theis year's festival will not be held in its traditional form - there will be a one-hour concert with a maximum of 20 attendees.
