Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) announced the relaunch of flights to Thailand and Malaysia on September 1, Switzerland on September 2 and Germany on September 3.

The airline’s first commercial flights, since the travel ban was imposed in March, have been previously announced— RJ will fly to Italy and Cyprus on August 8 and then Canada on August 13.

The National Centre for Security and Crisis Management has set strict measures for receiving travellers to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

An update of Jordan's green status countries will be given today, Tuesday. Two weeks ago the Green List included Austria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Chief Commissioner/CEO of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Haitham Misto, said there are flights coming in from non-green countries, which require travellers to complete a compulsory quarantine period upon arrival.

Travellers arriving from green countries have no quarantine requirements after entering the Kingdom.
