Eleven new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Jordan, all from abroad

Eleven new coronavirus cases were recorded in Jordan on Thursday, all from abroad, said the government.

All 11 cases involve people currently staying in hotel quarantine; four have travelled from Palestine, five from Qatar and two from Egypt.

The total number of cases now stand at 1,131 since the start of the crisis.

Seven recovered COVID-19 patients were discharged from Prince Hamzah Hospital on Thursday.

A total of 8,549 random tests were conducted today, bringing the total number conducted so far to 542,868.
