Man fatally shoots his mother in Ma'an

A man killed his mother and injured his two sisters when he opened fire in the family home in Ma’an.

Police officers were alerted to reports of a man firing a gun on Thursday morning.

The man’s mother died and his sisters are receiving medical treatment.

The perpetrator fled the scene initially but was later arrested. An investigation is now underway.
