The government has announced that no coronavirus cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Wednesday, July 8.

ِِAccording to media statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health, eight patients have recovered and were discharged from Prince Hamzah Hospital.

At least 6,530 laboratory tests were carried out, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 440,825.

To curb the virus spread, the Ministry stressed the need to adhere to preventive measures, wear masks, practice social distancing, and use the Aman.jo application to alert users if they were in contact with an infected person, and contribute to detecting virus-related cases.

The government has also recently launched a new smart phone application called "Sehtak" (your health) that provides the latest pandemic-based news, the virus and other health information.
