Jordan confirms 3 new COVID-19 cases, all from abroad

Jordan has confirmed three new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,167 according to a statement issued by the government and the Ministry of Health.

The new cases are two Jordanian citizens who have recently returned from Saudi Arabia and an Arab national who was tested at the Karameh Border Crossing.

According to the statement, 15 recovery cases were reported today, including 14 at Prince Hamzah Hospital and one at Queen Alia Military Hospital.

A total of 5,365 random tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 426,258.
