An Egyptian man has been accused of killing his wife after she was late preparing the dinner.

An investigation was launched after the woman’s body was found at the house located in a village in the northern Ash Sharqia governorate of Egypt.

Police revealed the man slit his wife’s throat with a kitchen knife following an explosive argument about the dinner being prepared late.

The man was arrested while the case is investigated.
