The Governor of West Bank district of Nablus, Ibrahim Ramadan, decided on Friday evening, June 19, to close a number of sectors until further notice after tens of coronavirus cases were recorded in the past 24 hours in different areas of the West Bank, including Nablus.

In a statement, Ramadan said that wedding halls, family councils, cafes, sports clubs, educational centers, including universities and colleges, mosques and churches, restaurants (except for delivery service) and beauty salons and barbershops will be closed as of Saturday, June 20.

He confirmed that the decision was taken after holding consultations with the Emergency Committee and reviewing the recommendations of the Health Committee.
