Non-Jordanians coming from Iran, South Korea and China prevented from entering Jordan

The Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Al-Adayleh, said that non-Jordanians coming from Iran, South Korea and China are prevented from entering the Kingdom as a temporary precaution, in line with the precautionary measures that many countries are applying as to prevent the spread of the virus.

During a press briefing he made today, Adayleh said that the government started today to apply additional precautionary measures against the new coronavirus in light of the high number of cases in South Korea and Iran.

Adayleh added that Jordanians coming from these countries will be subjected to a precautionary quarantine for two weeks to ensure that no one of them has corona.

He confirmed that the government has also intensified health control measures on all border crossings and airports in the Kingdom, in line with the precautionary measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
