Ministry of Awqaf Islamic Affairs and Holy Places has stated that the initial Hajj registration for Jordanians and Gazans in Jordan is due this evening.
Hussam Hyari, the spokesman for the Ministry, said in a statement “The registration will close at 10 pm today and that it will not be extended."
Hyari added, “21,000 people have completed their initial hajj registration procedures, 2,100 of which are members of the Hajj Fund for Savings and Investment .”
The Ministry will start a lottery through the Department of Hajj and Umrah at the end of the registration process to select people based on the accepted standards and regulations set by the Awqaf Council.
