A Jordanian citizen has threatened to set himself and his vehicle on fire, after he received a traffic violation on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

A source told Roya that the citizen threatened to burn himself in front of a shopping mall in Amman, after he had received more than one traffic ticket since the beginning of this month.

The source mentioned that a traffic police officer has given the citizen a ticket on Thursday because he was using his mobile phone while driving.

The violations amounted to a large sum of money, to the extent that the citizen could not afford it, therefore he threatened to burn himself and his vehicle.
