Young Jordanian man goes missing in Turkey

A young Jordanian man has been lost for more than a week in Turkey, according to his family.

Yazan Al al-Sheik's family had last contacted him nearly a week ago and could not call him again or get in touch with him since then.

However, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced on Sunday, July 14, 2019, that it is closely following up on the circumstances of Yazan's disappearance.

"We have been following up on the incident from the moment it was reported," spokeswoman for the Ministry said.
