The Jordanian husband, Saddam Mohammed Talib Bani Abdul Ghani and his wife, Wala'a Abdul Hamid Ahmed Al Mahashi, who have disappeared only a couple of hours after they entered the Syrian territory on May 12, 2019, were found in Syria, Abdul Ghani's brother said.

He also added in a statement to Roya that the couple has been found on Friday evening, May 17, 2019, and are expected to return to Jordan today.

He pointed out that the MP Khaled Abu Hassan has contacted the Syrian authorities to check on the health conditions of the couple which were described as good.

MP Abu Hassan stated that the husband and wife were taking photos of military sites, prompting the Syrian authorities to arrest them, which explains their sudden disappearance, and release them later.

Families of the couple emphasized that they contacted their son and daughter and checked on their health conditions.
