Social media users circulated a video on Thursday evening, May 16, 2019, showing the moment when a former member of parliament was arrested in West Amman.
Earlier in the day, a spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a security patrol in West Amman has stopped a vehicle for inspection.
The spokesman added that the driver of the vehicle was identified to be a former member of parliament.
The spokesman stated that the MP will be arrested after she was found wanted for a financial claim and there was an imprisonment order against her.
