Prime Minister Omar Razzaz visited on Sunday, April 28, 2019, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Amman and congratulated Christians on Easter holidays.

During his visit, Razzaz met with Archbishop Christophorus Attallah, president of Jordan churches council, and stressed that Jordan has always distinguished its social fabric through the principles of love and harmony.

Razzaz said, "the hate speech that we observe in many countries of the world, and that we have seen in New Zealand and Sri Lanka in the last time, is matched by the letter of love, harmony, humanity, and compassion.

Razzaz also affirmed that Jordan's insistence on national unity, love and compassion is part of the national character and the formation of our cohesive social fabric, which all Jordanians are proud of, because of the wisdom of the Hashemite Custodianship, which is respected by the whole world.

Razzaz confirmed that all Jordanians stand united behind His Majesty King Abdullah II in defending Jerusalem and the Islamic and Christian sanctities.

Archbishop Christophorus Attallah delivered a speech on the occasion, renewing the allegiance to His Majesty in the care and guardianship of the Islamic and Christian holy places in Jerusalem.
