The head of Arabia Weather, Osama Tarifi, revealed the amounts of rain that fell on the Kingdom during the day on Thursday, as Jordan was affected by a fourth grade weather depression.

"The amount of rain that hit the capital Amman during the past two days was 140 mm in some areas, and most of this amount came during the day on Thursday," he said in a post on Facebook.

- 22% of the amount of rain that falls during the whole year in London.

- 31% of the amount of rain that falls during the whole year in Madrid.

- full year worth of rain that falls in Baghdad.

- 18% of the amount of rain that falls during the whole year in Istanbul.
