Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in Amman on Sunday for a two-day visit where she will meet with Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah.

Queen Maxima was received upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport by the Mayor of Amman, the Dutch Ambassador to the Kingdom and a number of civilian and military officials.

Queen Maxima's visit to Jordan, as the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Global Financing and Development comes to follow up on a number of organization projects for women and Syrian refugees.
