The Delegation of the European Union to Jordan flew the Flag of Europe at half-mast outside its building in Amman on Sunday, October 28, 2018, to mourn the death of the 21 school students, teachers and civilians who lost their lives in the Dead Sea tragedy on Thursday, October 25.
The EU-Jordan’s staff also dedicated a moment of silence to the victims this morning.
In a tweet on Thursday, they said:

“We extend our sincerest condolences to the students' parents and pray for the others to escape this tragic accident. The European Union stands by Jordan and affirms its willingness to provide the necessary support during this difficult time.”
On Sunday morning, many schools across the Kingdom started their day by reading Sūrat al-Fātiḥah, the first chapter of the Quran, and observing a moment of silence for those who lost their lives on Thursday.
