Wintertime is the original and standard timing in the Kingdom, while Daylight Saving Time is an additional timing implemented every summer.

According to an earlier decision by the Jordanian Cabinet, the Kingdom is expected to switch from the Daylight saving time as winter is approaching.

The date is speculated to be on this Friday, 26 October, 2018, which will change the timing to be two hours ahead of GMT.

So, unless the Jordanian government announces otherwise, Jordanians will be rewinding their clocks 60 minutes earlier on Thursday’s midnight (12:00AM of October 26, 2018).
