An earthquake measuring 7.5 triggered a tsunami in Indonesia's Sulawesi island killing almost 50 people, and injuring hundreds on Friday, September 28, 2018, according to a preliminary toll released by the Disaster Agency on Saturday.
"There are 48 dead and 356 injured," said Sotobu Boro Nugroho at a press conference in Palau, a city of about 350,000 people, after a 2 meter tsunami hit on Friday after the powerful earthquake.
