Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Freihat, paid a visit to the Royal Jordanian Navy Force in Aqaba on the morning of Tuesday, August 21, 2018, which marked the first day of Eid Al-Adha Islamic holiday.
Received by the Commander of the Navy Brigadier General Ibrahim Salman Al-Naimat, Freihat was briefed on the tasks, duties, and the training programs of all Units operating in the Gulf of Aqaba and the east coast of the Dead Sea, including the Naval Special Boat Unit.
Delivering His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha to the members of the Jordanian Navy Forces, Freihat also expressed his pride in the Unit’s high level of efficiency and professionalism.
As part of his visit to Aqaba, Freihat attended the official opening of the 77th Royal Jordanian Marine Battalion's new building. Senior officials as well as a number of Armed Forces officers have attended the event.
