In observance of Eid al-Adha, correction and rehabilitation centers across Jordan are accommodating visits from inmates' families. These centers have opened their doors for both regular and private visits.

According to a statement from the Public Security Directorate (PSD), the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers aims to facilitate family meetings as part of its rehabilitative approach, which emphasizes the cultivation of positive values and driving transformative change.

The statement further noted that the PSD has increased the provision of private visits during Eid al-Adha, ensuring all necessary facilities are available to enable inmates to reunite with their families.

Last week, Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh announced that the Eid al-Adha holiday in Jordan will be from Tuesday, June 27, until Saturday, July 1.
