Jordanian Minister of Labor, Samir Murad, confirmed that his Ministry will be executing a heavy inspection-campaign associated with illegal foreign workforce in the Kingdom.

Murad added that this will positively affect the current state of the market as the number of illegal migrant-workers has already reached 650,000 employees of different nationalities.

The Ministry will not be offering any grace-periods nor exceptions for these violations, and illegal workers will have to subsequently rectify their state according to the law, Murad stressed.

The Minister made it clear that illegal foreign workers will be automatically deported once found.
