Three more earthquakes shook Jordan around 7 am on Wednesday morning, after two quakes hit the northern parts of the country just an hour before.

The third quake struck the kingdom at 6:52 am (local time) and measured 4.1 on the Richter scale. The fourth tremor hit five minutes later at a magnitude of 3.2. Finally, the fifth quake also measured 3.2 on the Richter scale and was felt at 7:19 am.

Just a few minutes before the clock struck five o’clock on Wednesday morning, a 4.2 magnitude shook Irbid and the northern region of Jordan. The aftershock came eight minutes after.

Head of the Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO), Mahmoud Al Qaryouti, told Roya that no damages or loss of lives were caused by the natural disaster.
