After days of searching for Palestinian activist Ahmed Nasr Jarrar, Israeli forces found and killed the young man in Jenin on Tuesday morning.

Jarrar, 22, was accused of killing a 35-year-old Israeli settler last month on the main road near an illegal Israeli settlement in Nablus.

The young activist had become a symbol of resistance and inspiration for many Palestinians and supporters of the Palestinian cause, just like young Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi, who is currently detained by Israeli police.

Jarrar was an orphan, who lived with his two brothers and sister, whose father Nasser Jarrar was active in al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and was killed in 2002 during the second intifada.
