A Royal Decree ordered Mamdouh al-Abadi to hold the post of Prime Minister temporarily as Hani al-Mulki left the country to the U.S today for therapy.

Al-Mulki had undergone medical examinations before he was advised to receive treatment abroad.

“Everything is good, there are no problems, I will undergo a simple examination before I come back again to serve all of you,” al-Mulki said in a video published by Khaberni on Facebook.

“I am upset the most for leaving the country, and leaving those who i enjoy serving,” he added.
