Nine Palestinians were killed; more than 3400 others were injured since the confrontation with the Israeli forces erupted in the Palestinian Territories earlier this month.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that more 2776 Palestinians were injured in the West Bank and Jerusalem, while 618 were injured in the Gaza Strip.

The most violent confrontation took place last week when Palestinian factions called for “Day of Rage” against the American President Donald Trump’s latest shocking step.

Palestinian factions started calling for angry demonstrations since announced Jerusalem as an Israeli Capital, and announced his intention to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem earlier at the sixth of December.

Many demonstrations were also held in many Islamic countries opposing the decision including Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt.

Earlier on Thursday, the United Nations general assembly has voted by majority to reject Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as an Israeli capital.
