Israeli occupation has banned on Monday the Hamas delegation from leaving the West Bank to Cairo through Jordanian Allenby bridge for reconciliation talks.

despite the Egyptian efforts to get the delegation out, Israel forced the delegation back to the West Bank after they had arrived to the bridge, according to Palestinian media reports.

The Gaza-based Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum said that his party has talked to Fateh and Egyptian officials to facilitate the travel of the their delegation from the West Bank, but "the occupation didn't allow it."

The delegation was supposed to be a part of Egyptian-brokered Palestinian reconciliation talks happening tomorrow in Cairo, trying to end a decade-long division between the two parties.
