King Abdullah, accompanied by Queen Rania and their children, attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Sovereign's Parade on Friday, which marked the graduation of Crown Prince Hussein.
The King represented Queen Elizabeth II at the graduation, where he delivered a speech to the graduating officers.
Prince Hussein was named Crown Prince in 2009, and like his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather before him, he enrolled in Sandhurst after finishing his university studies in international history.
The late King Hussein had previously represented the Queen in the Academy’s 1981 Sovereign Parade, where King Abdullah was a graduating officer.
