“Israeli” Settlers launched a series of assaults on Saturday evening, targeting Palestinian homes in the village of Burin, south of Nablus in the West Bank. Palestinian media confirmed that the settlers attacked the homeowners.

The United States imposed sanctions earlier on selected settlers and their affiliated entities for their involvement in activities "undermining peace, security, and stability in the West Bank," as reported by the US Department of State.

The US State Department classified these settlers and their entities as responsible or complicit or directly or indirectly attempted to engage in planning, ordering, directing, or other conduct contributing to violence or threats of violence targeting civilians and affecting the West Bank.

The European Union is nearing the implementation of sanctions against settlers residing in the West Bank, according to the "Jerusalem Post."

These sanctions might entail restrictions on their entry into Europe.

Previously, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez declared intentions to impose sanctions on settlers engaged in violent activities in the West Bank.
