The Central Market of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) received today, Wednesday, 2842 tons of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens, including 2121 tons of vegetables, 553 tons of fruits, and 167 tons of leafy greens.

The price list of items received in the market, based on the lowest and highest prices per kilogram, the prices varied as follows: Black Ajami eggplant ranged between 20-30 piasters, dried onions between 25-35 piasters, garlic between 300 - 500 piasters, potatoes between 20-35 piasters, tomatoes between 8-15 piasters, carrots between 30-40 piasters, cucumbers between 50-70 piasters, cauliflower between 8-20 piasters, lemons between 30-40 piasters, and local bananas between 50-80 piasters, according to the Central Market bulletin.
