Jordanians on Friday voiced their frustration over soaring cucumber prices in the markets, highlighting that the selling price has surged to JD 1.25 per kilogram.

As of Thursday, the price of cucumbers ranged between 60 and 100 piasters per kilogram, reflecting the lowest and highest prices, according to the price list of items received at the central wholesale market of Greater Amman Municipality. 

The quantity of cucumbers supplied to the central market on Thursday amounted to 120 tons and 208 kilograms.
