Fog forms in most areas of Jordan on Tuesday morning, with a chance of scattered showers in parts of the north and central regions of the Kingdom, while the weather remains cold, according to Jordan Meteorological Department.

The department added that temperatures will rise slightly, with moderate-speed southwesterly to westerly winds.

- Reduced visibility - 

It also warned in its report of the danger of reduced horizontal visibility in the morning hours, especially over mountainous areas, due to fog.

- Skidding risk - 

The department also warned of the risk of sliding on roads in areas experiencing rainfall, especially during early morning hours.

The forecast suggests a slight increase in temperatures tomorrow, Wednesday, with relatively cool conditions prevailing in most areas and warmer temperatures expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Additionally, the department noted that some clouds will appear at low altitudes, while the winds will be light and northeastward.

- Weekend forecast - 

The Meteorological Department expected on Thursday the weather to be sunny and relatively cold in most areas, with a tendency for warmth in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. It clarified that the winds would be moderate and northeastward.

As for Friday, temperatures are expected to continue rising, leading to pleasant weather in most areas and relatively warm conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. The department noted that some clouds would appear at high altitudes, while the winds would be moderate and northwestward.

- Temperatures for Tuesday - 

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to range between 13 and 6 degrees Celsius in East Amman, and 11 and 4 degrees Celsius in West Amman. In the northern highlands, temperatures will be around 9 and 4 degrees Celsius, while in the southern highlands they will range from 9 to 3 degrees Celsius.

In the desert regions, temperatures will be around 16 and 5 degrees Celsius, and in the plains, temperatures will range between 13 and 6 degrees Celsius. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will be around 19 and 9 degrees Celsius, while in the southern Jordan Valley they will range from 23 to 13 degrees Celsius.

At the Dead Sea, temperatures will be around 22 and 12 degrees Celsius, and in the Gulf of Aqaba, temperatures will range from 23 to 11 degrees Celsius.
