The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, approved today, Sunday, a modified system for driver's license fees and vehicle registration and licensing for the year 2024.

This comes to address the situation of privately owned small passenger vehicles and leased vehicles registered and licensed from August 22, 1999, until June 15, 2005. This group of owners was particularly affected by the increase in licensing fees.

The modified system also aims to facilitate the process of renewing the licenses for these vehicles, which should lead to smoother licensing procedures.
