"Hamas has informed the mediators of the resistance's agreement to extend the truce for four days," reported a reliable source to the French Press Agency (AFP) Wednesday.

The truce is expected to continue until 7 am Thursday, after initially being extended by two days.

The source mentioned that "Hamas has the capacity to release captives it holds."

"Various factions of the resistance have different directions during this period within the adopted mechanism and the same conditions," the source added.
