CNN published an analysis refuting the claims of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) about the moment of discovering weapons belonging to Hamas in the Shifa Medical Complex.

CNN said that a video clip on Nov. 15 showed the moment of inspecting the weapons of Hamas found in the Shifa hospital, where fewer weapons appeared in the location of the incident compared to the subsequent videos recorded by international media crews, indicating that the weapons may have been moved or placed there before the news crews arrived.

It added that it compared the shots published by the IOF online with shots taken by Fox News, which was granted access to the site in the following hours.

It pointed out that later, when darkness fell, Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst visited the scene of the incident, and said in his report: "It's midnight."

"Yingst showed a bag behind the magnetic resonance imaging machine inside the hospital, where two AK-47 rifles appeared on it.

However, a video clip by the IOF filmed earlier showed only one AK-47 rifle. It is not clear where the second AK-47 weapon came from and why it did not appear in the previous clip.

In the intervening hours, the IOF also posted on the Internet a picture of the weapons that are claimed to have been found in the Shifa hospital.

The name of the image (WhatsApp file) indicates that it was taken at 17:35; this puts it after the army's tour of the magnetic resonance imaging complex but almost certainly before the arrival of the Fox News crew.

The weapons could be removed from the scene and replaced before the arrival of the news crews. However, this does not explain why more weapons appeared when the press arrived compared to the original video of the IOF.

BBC was also granted access to the hospital the next day, November 16, and at that time, two AK-47 rifles were still visible above the bag inside the magnetic resonance imaging room.

CNN confirmed that it contacted the IOF for clarification about the clear contradiction, but did not receive a response.
