The Ministry of Education has circulated the new school timings to directors of education in al governorates Monday, effective from Sunday, Oct. 29.

According to the statement, the ministry confirmed that in light of maintaining daylight saving time, the school hours from Sunday, Oct. 29, until April 14, will be as follows:

Single Shift Schools

Morning assembly begins at 8:15 AM, followed by the first class at 8:30 AM, with a duration of 45 minutes.

Double Shift Schools

Morning shift: The morning assembly starts at 8:15 AM and the first class begins at 8:30 AM.

Afternoon shift: The afternoon assembly starts at 12:50 PM, and the first class begins at 1:00 PM.

The class duration for both morning and afternoon shifts is 35 minutes, and the five-minute break is canceled.

Schools will open to receive students at 7:45 AM.
