Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al-Sharif will reopen to Muslim worshippers Sunday, May 31, two months after it was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Jerusalem Waqf Department announced today.
The Director General of the Department, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said that all necessary measures have been taken to gradually return to the normal condition in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Since early morning, the concerned bodies started to clean and sterilize the squares, terraces and corridors of the Mosque, in preparation for its opening.
