Last night, a group of striking teachers was seen celebrating after the Jordanian Teachers Syndicate announced that the strike will continue although the Administrative Court had issued a decision on Sunday, September 29, 2019, indicating that the strike is over and teacher must end it.

Immediately after the Syndicate announced that the strike will continue for the fourth week in a row, teachers took to the streets and started performing Dahiyeh dance, a traditional Bedouin folk dance that is usually performed during occasions and ceremonies.

They all confirmed that the strike will last until the government offers them the 50% pay raise they are asking for.
