His Majesty King Abdullah II, in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, discussed bilateral ties and means to bolster cooperation between Jordana and France in various fields.

Discussions covered the latest regional developments, with the King stressing the need to step up international efforts to reject all unilateral measures that would undermine the two-state solution as the only solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 4 June 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.

King Abdullah praised France and the European Union's stance for supporting the two-state solution, emphasizing the importance of unifying international positions in this regard.
