Most-watched TV channels in Jordan during Ramadan 2019

More than 79% of Jordanians of over 18 years of age had watched TV channels in Jordan during the holy month of Ramadan 2019, according to a survey conducted by NAMA Strategic Intelligence Solutions between Ramadan 2nd and Ramadan 29th.

Citizens were asked whether they watched a number of channels for at least five minutes per day, where 64% of those who responded said they had watched Roya TV, 54% had watched Jordan TV, 27% had watched MBC1, 14% had watched MBC4, and 12% watched MBC Drama, Chairman of NAMA, Fares Braizat, said during a press conference to announce the results of the study.

The study showed that people aged between 18-24 were the most to have watched Roya TV, constituting 43%. Braizat added.

Females were the most to have watched TV channels in Jordan during the same period, the study indicated.

Roya TV received the highest average of viewership from residents of Amman, Zarqa, and Irbid, compared to Jordan TV.

The study covered 2, 550 completed interviews conducted with the people surveyed in all regions of the Kingdom.

The margin of error reached 1.9% while the confidence interval reached 95%.
