Jordan condemns terrorist attack in Sri Lanka

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs condemned on Sunday, April 21, 2019, the terrorist attack which targeted three hotels and three churches during their Easter Sunday mass in Colombo and its suburbs that claimed the lives of 207 people and injured 450 others.

Spokesman for the Ministry, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, reiterated Jordan's solidarity with the Sri Lankan government and people in the fight against terrorism, which aims at undermining the security, safety, and stability of Sri Lanka.

Qudah also expressed his deepest condolences over the victims and wished the injured a speedy and full recovery, affirming the Kingdom's longstanding position and its rejection of the various forms of violence and terrorism.
