Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lit. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, received the Deputy Commander of the United States Central Command, Lt. Gen. Thomas W. Bergeson, on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Bergeson, who met with His Majesty King Abdullah II earlier, was accompanied by a delegation of military personnel who, together, discussed  issues of common concern with Freihat. The meeting aslso addressed future collaboration and coordination between Jordan and the US.
