Hamdallah meets Jordanian ambassador, condoles with Jordan over Dead Sea victims

Palestinian Prime Minister, Rami Hamdallah met with Jordan’s Ambassador to Palestine, Mohammed Abu Wandi, at the PM’s office in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Monday, October 29, 2018, according to WAFA News Agency.

Hamdallah, and on behalf of the Palestinian Government, expressed sincere condolences to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanians over the victims of the tragic accident caused by flash floods in the Dead Sea area, which took place last Thursday, October 25, 2018, wishing God to grant them mercy.

During the meeting, the two also discussed various issues related to the latest political developments in the region.

Hamdallah reaffirmed the strong relations between the two countries, praising the role of Jordan in supporting the Palestinian cause and in defending the rights of Palestinians. He also called on the importance of boosting his country’s cooperation with Jordan in various fields, especially in the field of trade.

The Palestinian PM also confirmed his full readiness to provide all support to the Jordanian Ambassador, and wished him success during his mission in Palestine.
