It’s that time of year again when the Central Traffic Department (CTD) spreads holiday cheer to the country’s citizens.

Traffic police officers and CTD personnel in Amman handed out Eid candy and greeting cards to the city’s residents who are celebrating Eid Al Adha today.

The CTD gave out symbolic Eid sweets in crowded areas near mosques and parks, where many families have gathered after performing Eid prayers.

A driving force in the community, this is an ongoing tradition by the CTD, who have carried on this sweet gesture for several years now, including on Eid El-Fitr.

Today marks the first day of Eid Al Adha, which will last for four days until Friday, August 24.
